Ten months ago, when "Sully" Sullenberger landed his plan on the chilly waters of the Hudson River, we celebrated his cool, his skill as a pilot as well as the coordination of the flight crew and the rescuers. But there was another character in this story. That is the A320 Airbus that Sullenbuerger flew and the advanced generation of aircraft that it represented.
